Lord I’m ready to go forward
I’ve heard the trumpet sound
there’s much land to take and conquer
where Satan stands his ground

with my armor I am immune
from fiery darts of hell
you’ve given me a way to win
equipping me so well

as man encounters evil ways
he needs to be prepared
or the devil will devour him
catching him unaware

God has given us great power
to use against this foe
as one partakes of His shed blood
the power from it flows
____
no demon spirit can withstand
a blood bought Christian soul
invoking the name of Jesus Christ
the word of God extolled

then strongholds will come tumbling down
where freedom can come in
the powers of darkness on the run
real liberty from within
____
send me O Lord to do Thy will
I’m ready for a fight
keep me protected by Your grace
as I walk in Your light
